Hooray for babies! Taye Diggs and wife Idina Menzel have announced that they are expecting their first child later this year. The couple met in 1996 on the set of the Broadway play Rent. They are both part of the original cast of Rent. They were married in January of 2003.
I’ve had the great pleasure of meeting Idina Menzel. In my early twenties I had a stint of being a back up singer for a few Hip Hop producers in the Philadelphia area. She recorded her second album at the studio owned by a producer I worked for and I had the greatest honor in the world to sit in on one of her sessions. She is definitely a true talent.
