Fashion Men, Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala…..

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Justin Timberlake the musician and sex icon.  But, there are many other areas of Justin’s celebrity.  On top of being a musician, actor and all around sexy bitch…he is also a fashion designer.  With the assistance of his right hand man and BFF Trace Ayala Justin brings us William Rast a fashion line for men and women.  Included in his fashion line up for women are jeans, skirts, tops, sweat hoodies, hats, and polo shirts. 

My own personal review:  I love Justin, but I am not a fan of William Rast at all.  In fact, I’m more than positive that I saw the exact same designs on the clearance rack at Target last night.  I went over to the website to scope out everything William Rast has to offer and I am completely disappointed, $287.00 for a pair of skinny jeans that resemble stone washed Levi’s from the 80’s.  That is not hot!  He has polos that bare the saying “Memphis Blues” which for someone like me who is a northerner from Philadelphia, I just don’t understand it.  Why would I walk around with “Memphis Blues” written across my polo t-shirt.  What does Memphis Blues even mean.  I can completely get down with and support people wanting to represent for their hometown, but please leave it off the merchandise unless you’re only hoping for Memphis resident’s to wear your clothes.  I won’t be too negative on his line, because let’s face it Justin is not hurting for money nor fame and the line has been around for 3 years and counting and has yet to file for chapter 11…..he must be doing something right.  I’m sure his previous ‘N Sync(er) fans are keeping his pockets well lined by purchasing his designer fashions duds.

It’s LC Again…

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake……Awwwww!!

So it’s no secret that my favorite pop star has been going through less than perfect situations.  Britney has been in and out of rehab for the past month. With all of the negative press and really rude comments and articles written about her.  It felt as though all of Britney’s die hard fans had left her side and halted their support for her, but I was on her official site today and it looks as though fans are speaking out and sending her letters of encouragement. 

Celebrities have also been coming to her aide by sending encouraging letters.  On the top of that list is my favorite male pop celebrity and Brit’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.  I was listening to my local radio station this morning and on the segment called “the dirt” the show co-host said that Justin sent Britney a letter encouraging her to get better and that if it hadn’t been for them getting together so young, they would probably be married with kids now…awww isn’t he so sweet.  When they first broke up I thought it was about time for them.  Every serious relationship sometimes needs to pause in order for it to last the duration of a lifetime.  But, things have changed now.  Britney now comes with two divorces and two babies.  Not sure if Justin is up to taking care of someone else’s kids although who wouldn’t love the faces of little Sean Preston and Jayden James.

It was reported today that music producer Timbaland is also reaching out to help Britney Spears. He and good friend Justin Timberlake are vowing to help her make a comeback, according to thisjustin.com.

Summer Must Have Shoes

I’ve been on the look out for my summer must have shoes.  I’ve already purchased my flops, but I’ve been haven’t even begun to purchase my real summer shoes yet.  I love platform shoes and heels.  However, this past fall and current winter I had to be a little more subtle on my platform purchases as my boyfriend is only 2 inches taller than me, and well when I put on my heels he becomes two inches shorter.  I think we can try to pass it off as the “super model/millionaire” look, but I am no super model and he is still a ways away from being a millionaire.

Pax Thien Jolie

He’s the newest member to the Jolie-Pitt clan.  Pax Thien was adopted by Angie this month from Vietnam.  He’s such a cutie.  Little Pax now puts the Jolie-Pitt baby count up to 4 (two boys and two girls)  Angelina reminds me of my favorite all time entertainer Josephine Baker.  Who sought out to adopt one child from every ethinicity.  She had 12 children in total at the time of her death and I think its cool that Angie is picking up where she left off.
