I forgot to upload my fun filled day with Alexa Prisco of Jerseylicious. I went to her home in Jersey and spent the day with her and some of her staff. I was able to sit in on one of her glam sessions where she teaches the fundamentals of makeup application and we ended it all with a makeup contest of sorts where we both did our best smokey eye on some models. The truth about Foxy Locks Hair Extensions!

Here is a video on a tutorial I did on foxy locks hair extensions, when I did this review it was the first time I had ever used them and right from the beginning I was a huge fan. But I do have to say after having them for a while these extensions REALLY SUCK! The hair is very cheap, the weft (the part where the hair is bonded) is very weak, the clips themselves are very flimsy and in some cases do not clip closed which is very frustrating. The quality of the hair starts to deteriorate even after giving them a good washing and conditioning. The hair is very dry and ratty after you’ve washed them. They do not bounce back as they are portrayed to do. Here is my first review:

I will be posting a new review of them next week. This next review will not be so kind. Its almost like the only way these extensions would be worth the money is if you continue to purchase them over and over. I’d say you’d get a good weeks worth of wear out of them before you just have to throw them away. And if you do decide to purchase them you will be throwing your money away.

I have always throughout my life battled weight issues. As a kid I was always heavy not matter what I did. I was very active in sports, softball, soccer, cheerleading, basketball, gymnastics just to name a few but I always had a little extra weight on me. I was considered chubby. Still very small but not as small as the average girl my age. As I got older I started to take a very dangerous approach to my weight loss and I ended up being the smallest I had ever been at 110 lbs. That wasn’t a realistic approach for, eating once a day and that’s even if i decided to eat at all. In my early to mid 20’s I was extremely healthy. I was an avid triathlete and even then I was not stick thin but unbelievably healthy. I was 5′7 and weight 130 lbs which was good. Not thin, but considered slender. Now that I am in my late 20’s I’ve had a baby married and have become comfortable in my life I have gained a few extra pounds. I am still healthy (according to my doctor) but I am now consider being a plus sized woman. Which I fully embrace and am not concerned about it. I maintain a reasonable healthy life, could it be better? Sure. Is it horrible? Absolutely not! I’m a mom and a wife raising a family and dealing with children I don’t have the energy or the time at the moment to train like the avid triathlete I used to be but still incorporate those same values in my everyday health routine.

With that being said I have ALWAYS been fashionable. I get asked all of the time on my youtube channel the best way to apply liquid foundation. The most important tips you want to remember is to 1.) use a M.A.C. 190 brush or any flat top soft brush 2.) Pat or (stipple) the foundation on your face and 3.) blend in circular motions. Remember not to rub or wipe the foundation to the skin as this will create streaking and uneven application. Below is a video tutorial I did on how to apply liquid foundation. Leave me a comment is you have any questions.
